African American Heritage Galery Exhibition Call for Entries
The Council would like to make a call to African American Artists in our community to contribute their works to the African American Heritage exhibit.
The works for this exhibit will encompass original works reflecting both contemporary and historical views of African American culture as seen through the eyes of the artists.
Artists are invited to drop off their creations for the event beginning January 16th, 2018, Tuesday-Friday from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. The last day to submit works will be January 30th, 2018.
Showing: January 19 – February 28, 2018
Take-ins January 16 – January 30, 2018

Spring Juried Art Show Call for Entries
The Jacksonville-Onslow Council for the Arts invites submissions for our Spring Juried Art Show
We invite all artists, inside and outside of Onslow County, to submit up to three works. All forms of media will be accepted. Works must be family-friendly for inclusion. Please be sure to download and read the 2018 Spring Juried Art Show Call for Artists linked below for full details and submission requirements.
Entry fees: $25 for CFTA members and $35 for non-CFTA members
Prizes to be awarded:
Best in Show $300
2nd Place $200
3rd Place $100
Artistic Merit $50
(6) Honorable Mention Ribbons
Intake Dates: Wednesday, April 25 – Wednesday May 2, 2018, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
Opening Reception: Friday, May 4, 2018 from 6 to 8 p.m.
Show Dates: Friday, May 4 – Friday June 15, 2018, during regular business hours

Arts Market Sales Opportunities:
The Arts Council also consistently seeks quality visual artists for inclusion in the recently expanded Arts Market at 826 New Bridge Street in downtown Jacksonville. All mediums are welcome.
