Jacksonville’s newest landmark is right outside our building: The Freedom Fountain! This month our artists and photographers take center stage by showing off their favorite view of the Freedom Fountain. For this exhibition we opened our show to include students from Onslow County Schools. What better way to show off our newest landmark!
The Freedom Fountain honors all individuals who have served and are serving the United States of America and especially those who have passed through Onslow County in the service of their Country. The fountain is located at the intersection of New Bridge Street and Johnson Boulevard, in the same block as the City Hall and will serve as a gateway to the downtown area at Lejeune Memorial Park where the Beirut Memorial, Vietnam Memorial and 9/11 Memorial.
The Opening Reception will be on Sunday, May 5 from 2:30pm – 4:00pm. This is an opportunity to meet the artists.
