SOUP IN A BOWL
11th annual "Soup in a Bowl"

We would like to take this opportunity to once again thank everyone who made our 11th Annual Soup in a Bowl a wonderful success. Thank you to our potters Nancy Newman, Becky LaPadula and Ben Watford who not only give their time, effort and talent, but also donated them to the Council.

The Buzz Rocket Band played the entire afternoon, some of the best sounding 50’s, 60’s and 70’s music you could ever hear! We thank the group for making the day a wonderful success.  The 35th annual Student Art Show/Competition was on display.

In addition to Ben Watford’s hand-thrown pottery, we are delighted to have him at the wheel! He spent the afternoon throwing pots, vases and mugs as everyone watched.

To our fabulous cooks: who brought in a wide assortment of soups, stews, and chilies; without you there would be no event! We thank you.

It goes without saying…there would be no Soup in the Bowl without the dedicated volunteers who make this day enjoyable – thank you very much, everything was very tasty.

Our bowls are designed and handcrafted by area potters Ben Watford , Nancy Newman & Becky LaPadula

You can either purchase a bowl in advance (recommended for the best of the bowls) or on the day of the event.

 

Wonderful supporters and lovers of soup, everyone is enjoying the soups and the breads.
Friends and neighbors socialize while enjoying the awesome soups in the Bradford Baysdon Art Gallery.
