The Council for the Arts would like to invite all writers to come share their literary works at an Open Mic event from 3:00 pm – 5:00 pm. Each speaker will be allotted 5 minutes to present their material. This free event will take place at the Council building located at 826 New Bridge Street. in Jacksonville. Board Member and artist Christine Sundly conducted an art class for the Girl Scouts. They will recieve their Art Badges. Christina talked to the girls about being an artist, showing her work to them and then letting them paint a portrait in Pablo Picasso style. No two look alike. Isn't that what art is all about?
